From: Paul McClintock <[email protected]> Date: Mon, Oct 9, 2017 at 8:47 PM Subject: Status of eNAP affiliation with EAP To: NAP national assoc of parliamentarians Cc: Todd Crowder, Weldon Merritt, Paul McClintock As secretary of the Electronic Unit of NAP (eNAP), I have a question that stems from tonight's meeting, concerning whether eNAP is automatically now affiliated with the newly chartered Electronic Association of Parliamentarians (EAP), or whether eNAP needs to still formally request a change to that status. NAP bylaw IV.5.B.2 provides: "When chartering, an electronic unit shall designate its association affiliation or designate that it will not have an association affiliation. After the initial designation, an electronic unit may petition the NAP Board of Directors to change its affiliation status.""The NAP Electronic Association currently has four chartered e-units: NAP E-Unit, E-Grant, Young Professionals Parliamentary Practice, and the Green Gavel." -- Paul McClintock, PRP Secretary, eNAP CC: eNAP President Todd Crowder, PRP and EAP President Pro Tem Weldon Merritt, PRP From: NAP HQ <[email protected]> Date: Tue, Oct 10, 2017 at 10:08 AM Subject: Re: Status of eNAP affiliation with EAP To: Paul McClintock Cc: Todd Crowder, Weldon Merritt Paul, The Electronic Unit is affiliated with the Electronic Association as it was listed on Electronic Association's application for charter.
